Ready for Modern Warfare!

Ever since Rainbow Six 3: Ravenshield, Team FnX has had a hard time finding another game as interesting and worth our time to play. We gave Vegas and GRAW a shot, but both games failed to offer very exciting game play. We had high hopes this fall, however, with Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4 demoing some pretty impressive games.

Well, after basically years of waiting, I do believe our search for a new competitive game is over and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the answer. While obviously not perfect, the game does offer an amazing multiplayer game which I can definitely see us playing for a long while to come.

It's about time too and playing this game reminds me of all the days playing RVS where time would simply slip by. Can't wait to actually try competing against other teams!

FnX Welcomes Redrum and Denots

Long time friends of the clan and former members, Redrum and Denots, have official re-entered the fold here at FnX. Redrum was one of the earliest recruits here (back in the very early FUKT days) and we're happy to have him back on the team. Denots joined us deep into our RVS run but was a key member during our league pistols reign at TeamWarfare. Please take the time to welcome both of these guys back to the team.

The Day to Day of a L33tz0r

While I never imagined myself taking advantage of our blog feature, my entry into the full-time work force gives me more then enough time to pursue hobbies other then experimenting with substances and slacking through classes.

I updated my profile on the site today for the first time since we put up this new site. It was kind of depressing to change my age from 21 to 22 especially since I had to consider whether to go a head and change it to 23 and save myself the trouble of having to update it again at the end of September. Can it really be true that I've been playing online games with everyone in this clan since I was 18 - 5 years?! Wow. You guys were with me through my entire college "career".

Entering the full-time work force has been bitter sweet. I can't complain beside the fact that its hard for anyone to take a recent college graduate serious when applying for non-entry-level positions. Currently I'm working for Advanced Energy, a small non-profit in Raleigh, North Carolina focused on energy efficiency consulting in several areas. NC Green Power is a subsidiary of AE and is partnered with North Carolina's utilities in an effort to move as much of the grid to alternative energy sources as possible. I enjoy the mission of my job but hate the corporate style at times.

Anyway, my lifestyle is rapidly changing - probably for the best although I certainly miss gaming all night and sleeping through class all day in order to rest up and prepare for the coming night of L33tz0r 0wnage!

the news

Damn!!! So I haven't been feeling like myself for the past few months and finally i get some health insurance and decide to got to the Doc. I tell the Doc my symptoms and the only response is let me see ur finger. The guy stabs me takes some blood and leaves the room.

He comes back in like a minute later and says to me that my blood sugar is through the roof and how did i manage to walk in here. Come to find out i am a Type deux diabetec. Now i gots to take pills for the rest of the wolfmans life and monitor my blood 5 times a day. It Sux!!! so they run some labs and find out i got other shit wrong like triglicerides are fukt(i know i prolly misspelled the Tri word wrong) so bam there is another med i gotta pop.

Granted i have been hit with the fatboy disease. so i'm taking pills and begininng to exercise more. My meals have changed to diabetic shakes and snacks that help keep my sugar leveled. Its a life style change that i have to make or i can be a one legged blindman on dialysys hearing my daughters march down their wedding ailse.

The wolf is mean and tuff and my kids dont call me superman for nothing. Ill be working out more every evening and having my wife beat me when i get a craving for some Fried porkchops but it will be worth it. It takes more than some mickey mouse diabetic high trigliceride bullshit to slow me down. I shall keep the team informed

Going # 2 and catch a big brown cow??

Over 4 months later since my last (and first) blog. The second time not quite as special as the first time. I guess now it is about learning the subtle lines of a blogs body, what makes them tick, how to make them harmonious and burst with energy...or turn tail and run for the hills. The second option seems a marvalous choice, leaving more time for important things like WoW, GF agro, and moose fishing. Expecially that last one. I mean seriously people, canoes don't just grease themselves, beaver nipples dont just magicaly dry roast on thier own, and when is the last time you were able to reel in one of those big beautiful bastards without first gathering ample amounts of beaver piss to rub on. This all takes time!
>
Do these guys look like bloggers or go getters!

>
See you in 4 months!

Small Site Update

I modified the site a bit today to make it so that only FnX members can post comments on posts. We were getting hit with a bit of spam in our comments, so I figured I might as well just lock it down. I also went ahead and finally themed our comments a bit so they actually look half decent. Take a look at R@bbits last post if you want to see an example.

My First Blog!

I just recently moved into my new house. I never owned before, always rented. I had invisioned that first day as a wave of emotions, topped with an almost nausiating excitment. But as any of you home owners (remember your first?) have come to realize is it seems to take awhile for it to sink in. There is so much work in the first couple weeks, and when the dust settles a bit, your moment for excitment has come and gone and you are left with acceptence. "This is where I live now".
We moved in on Aug 9th, and now almost a month later most of the work is done. I guess the real excitment is now building up the memories.

But my first blog? Instant satisfaction! Buuuyukka!
Peace
Stu

Finally, the FnX Site is Ready...

After so many months that I can't even count, the FnX site is finally ready to go live. There are still some bugs (quite a few actually) but I think they are all capable of being resolved while the site is live. Thanks to everyone who helped me with testing, especially MightKill and Evilone, and thanks Evil for all the hard work with the site graphics. The site looks great, and will last us a long time...
